On the YouTube video front, here is a great compilation of the Learn To Flip videos by Erin Winwick Anthony that takes us through her journey of learning competitive pinball. This is a highly recommended video to send anyone who is at all interested in playing in pinball competitions!
Famous retro arcade in Japan 台場一丁目商店街プレイランド (Daiba 1-chome Shopping Arcade Playland) closed down. Onitama-san gifts us one last look at this marvelous arcade. This was one of the very few public places you could have played Sega's Moto Polo.
Here Onitama-san takes us through Takahashi's wonderful pinball collection in Japan, featuring a great woodrail line up and many other electromechanical games. Interesting to note that it's all American machines here, and I don't see a single Japanese machine.
Clay is back with videos of four machines that I am quite fond of.
1947 Heavy Hitter by Bally (countertop pitch-n-bat)
1956 Lucky Seven by Genco (roll down)
1955 Derby Roll by United (roll down)
1972 Golf Champ by Midway (wall game)
I know there are a number of impressively ridiculous collectors out there. People who have built massive collections that might seem unwieldy to people outside the hobby.
Within that group there is a subset of collections that might not be appreciated fully unless you too are deeply nerdy about electromechanical arcade machines. But when you are in with that sickness, the depth and refinement of such collections make you a bit weak at the knees!
Within that group, there are a bunch who have also put in a ridiculous amount of time and effort to share their skills and knowledge and passion with the public. Clay is one of those people. Steve Young, Rob Berk, Tim Arnold, Larry Bieza. Many more. And Kevin Keinert is in that group too. (I would also put like Mike Hasanov and Jay Stafford in that group of people who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to share information and build the hobby, but I don't actually know what their collections are like... perhaps beginning with framing this as people with impressive collections doesn't quite get to the point I was going for?... nevertheless!)
Here Kevin takes us inside 1920s shocker games:
These two videos are currently 15 & 13 years old, but I only recently was alerted to their presence. To extremely rare/obscure machines.
Overview and gameplay of Hawaiian beauty by Gottlieb:
And finally a video from Italy, courtesy Federico Croci, with lots of pinball and arcade footage.

This blog stands in protest against the horrific eliminationist policies being enacted by the USA to remove trans people from society. Trans people have always existed, in every society, but this administration has declared a war against reality and says that trans people can no longer be allowed to exist. Trump's executive orders say that trans children should be abused at school, in their home, in public, and at hospitals. Trump's orders are a decree to destroy all traces of trans existence from society, and that all trans people are subhuman threats and liars who should not be allowed to exist publicly. He is attacking children, he is attacking families, and he is delighting in his sadism.
This blog stands in solidarity with all of the youth who are being terrorized by a president who has declared them to be threats that must be eliminated.
