exploring the arcade in ギャング対ギャング (1962) / Gyangu tai G-men aka Gang vs. G-Men

I want to find more footage of Japan's Gun Corners from the early 1960s.  This movie and the next one I am going to post both have wonderful gun corner footage.
This movie came out in November 1962.  Many of the games in this arcade data from the prior two years.  This was a very modern arcade for the time.

ギャング対ギャング

This movie can be watched at The Internet Archive.

we pan down this giant vertical sign

and see a horizontal storefront Gun Corner sign as well

through the window we can see one of the larger coinop shooting gallery games

1960 Shooting Gallery by Midway

GUN CORNER!

This woman is playing Sega's very first EM arcade game, Jungle Gun (1961)
details further below

The game beside Jungle Gun is called Bonus Gun and we will we'll see more of a later

there is a machine at the right, bottom, and through the glass of another game, where we can see a distinctive pattern.  We will get to that one below when we have a better view.
Can anyone read the sign?

please let me know what any of the signage says.  :)

On the right:

1961 Deluxe Shooting Gallery by Midway

Over his right shoulder:

1947 Shoot The Bear by Seeburg
AKA Bear Gun

The gun holster on the left is quite distinctive:

1960 Ray Gun by Chicago Coin
note: pinrepair says 1961, but this game is mentioned 1960-11-12 Cash Box, so probably released late in that year.

I think it is very cool that the woman is playing Sega's Jungle Gun

I wish we had a better picture of those signs.

Gunsmoke and Shoot The Clown

1959 Gun Smoke by Bally

1960 Shoot The Clown by Chicago Coin

1960 The New Frontier by JF Frantz

It is interesting to note that The New Frontier was also once again imported into Japan in 1979!  JF Frantz produced this game for a long time.

日本商事 (Nippon Shoji) imported The New Frontier again
Game Machine 1979-05-01

face to the left is Sega's Jungle Gun.  Behind it, facing to the right, is Midway's Shooting Gallery

A good shot of Ray Gun

We've seen this before in an exterior shot, doing a good job of showing the cabinet's striping:

1961 Jungle Gun - ジャングルガン by 日本娯楽物産 (Nihon Goraku Bussan) & 日本機械製造 (Nihon Kikai Seizo — Sega)

the back wall lineup seems to be Ray Gun, Bear Gun, and then 2nd copy of Ray Gun.

On the right we can finally get a glimpse of the backglass of game next to Midway's Deluxe Shooting Gallery.

1955 Bonus Gun by United

I think the cinematographer should be very proud of this scene.  The tension of the image of the man with a gun pointed at the woman mimics the tension of her real danger in this scene.

  1. >> Can anyone read the sign ?
I couldn't read far sign, but could read near one, it said :
    「ゲームについてご不明な点は係員にお聞きくださいませ」
"Please ask the staff if you have something unclear about playing games"

    >> please let me know what any of the signage says.
    left : 「賭行為は一切お断り致します」
It means "Any gambling action is banned here.", but some word(s) may be hidden before "賭行為".
    far center : not readable
right : the same signage in upper photo
