These are ordered by date and the title given in the archive is listed as well.  18 of these 27 images are high resolution.

Line-O-Lites does not appear on IPDB. I believe this is a modified Genco Criss Cross 'A' Lite. It could be concocted just for this photo, but I'm guessing that the Line-O-Lites backbox does not normally belong to that machine. 5x5 grids for Fascination / Pokerino games would involve a ball the player can roll by hand, and that's what I assume Line-O-Lites is typically from. When they would form a line the jackpot light on the top would light up.

This blog stands in protest against the USA's horrific attempts to eliminate trans people from society. Trans people have always existed, in every society, but the administration has embraced a moral panic, declared a war against reality, and says that trans people can no longer be allowed to exist. This includes making their healthcare illegal, censoring books and school curriculum from university level down to elementary school, declaring trans life to be child abuse, and banning trans people from bathrooms.

This blog stands in solidarity with all of the youth who are being terrorized by a fascist president who has declared them to be threats that must be eliminated.

The USA is disappearing random brown people off the streets via unidentified masked men and shipping them off to concentration camps and notorious foreign prisons, all with no due process. Solidarity for all who are in the gaze of this American Nazism terror campaign against its own people.

I am happy to announce that the first of the Coin Journals is now available online!

Thank you to Detchibe for scanning and thank you to Greg at the International Arcade Museum Library for working with us to help preserve these.

月刊コインジャーナル [Monthly Coin Journal] Vol. 7 No. 12 (December 1982) (600DPI)

This issue has a part 2 of a history of the amusement industry. That makes finding earlier issues an even more tantalizing prospect!

This is the last batch of The Billboard Magazines that I was gifted by Mike of Church of the Silver Ball fame back at Ontario Pinfest. Huge shout out to F-T-BScans who did a great salvage job and gave us all some amazing high resolution coin-op advertisements, despite the brittle and frayed and crumbling papers.

These are quite damaged and have pages missing, so if a complete somewhere, someone please acquire it and scan it. If you have old Billboard Magazines sitting around, please get in touch. They might need to get archived? I suppose same goes for any other coin-op ephemera that is not yet properly preserved. We put in the work so that future generations won't.

scans: flyers and magazines from Japan

A bit of a grab-bag of scans here.  Thank you to everyone who uploaded them or passed them to me for upload.

Thank you to a friend in Japan that provided me these two Universal slot machine scans.

Perfect Universal Slot Machines [ユニバーサルカタログ] (1982)

 example page:

and this pairs nicely with the 2-sided Jumbo Slot flyer.

I thought I had shared this next scan, which I got courtesy Mike Minchew, but it seems I missed it.

This has the North America export flyer as well as the English, German, & Spanish export flyer.

Shout out to Internet Archive user データ三昧 who uploaded these next two flyers.  I had seen this Sega flyer for the Rock-Ola 443 Jukebox before and I was quite tempted by it.  I don't typically collect jukebox stuff but the graphic design is just so GOOD.

Then a 1990 Sega company profile. Notable for me is that it has a 2-page spread on their epic Super Circuit.

next up is an AOU newsletter, scanned by Detchibe.

AOU News [AOUニュース] Vol. 2 No. 2 Issue 6 (February 15, 1987) (600DPI)

And then 3 issues of the English language Japan Amusement Monthly, 2 scanned by Arcade Hacker and 1 by Detchibe.
